Was a nice quite environment to sit and hang out with friends. We order the 16" meat lovers and it was good for all four of us. We also order the mozzarella sticks that I thought where great. Will return again.

Ordered for delivery and got a large "white pizza" and fried mozzarella. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes, once it got there it wasn't hot as I expected..merely "warm" but we were starving. The fried mozzarella was as to be expected and the usual suspect, nothing memorable or exciting but edible. The pizza was gdecent and I'm sure piping hot and melty fresh it would've been even better. The whole meal cost 27 bucks...not bad but certainly not great. This place is probably better inside than as a delivery service.

Great pizza, garlic knots, and wings! The blue cheese dressing is my favorite! They deliver to me and that's even better!

Great food and service. Toasted ravioli is delicious. Pizza is cooked in coal oven and is cooked "well-done." Wings are good too!

I really like this place. The waitstaff is always very friendly and the food is delish! The garlic knots are awesome and the white pizza is some of the best I've had. We are new to the area (less then a month at this point) and we've already been there 3 times. We are for sure hooked!

We absolutely love this place, it is the only place around that when you pull a slice of pie a way you get long strands of cheese it's gooey sin and delicious pizza. We haven't had a bad meal yet and we don't expect one anytime soon.

This is the farthest. I have ever gone for pizza. It was coal fired. Unfortunately. Yelp, urberspoon. And Google did not rate correctly when filter by distance. With that being said. I ordered pizza with pepperoni with half bacon and half olive. I also ordered a stromboli. Pizza was amazing. Perfect. In every way. Lets talk about stromboli. I ordered the fired up version. There was so much salt I could not enjoy. They serve it with a red sauce which helped. When you stack a Sandi like that with a bunch of meats that are already salty its to much. If they could balance with some banana peppers or cut down the salt in the meats they will use. Then you will have a great dinner. Staff was nice, and very proud of the place. Would recommend just let them know exactly what you want.

This place knows how to make great pizzas. We drove by this place over the weekend and decided to give it a try for takeout. We ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was delicious. Crispy crust and plenty of toppings. I also ordered a small Margarita pizza because that is how I judge all pizza places. It was better than the Italian restaurant in downtown Eau Gallie. Big pieces of tomato and mozzarella and fresh basil It was probably the best I have had since I was in Italy. We didn't dine there but the inside is nice and looks like a great place to watch a game, enjoy a pizza, and drink some beers. This is now my new favorite pizza place!

I wish I could give Fired Up a better review than one star since it is so close to my house, but I hate it. This is the second time I have been to Fired Up recently, and I really regret not going somewhere else. I held back how I felt when I was there for my boyfriend's sake, but I am still upset. The only thing that wasn't terrible about my experience tonight was the waitresses, but they only redeemed themselves at the end of the visit when servers usually step it up for their tip. Just being honest. The layout of the restaurant is awkward. A large portion of space that could be used to seat people is taken by what looks to be a make shift office. Whoever runs the place probably needs their space, but it doesn't need to be visible from the dining room, and it doesn't need to take up so much space. There are only a few booths, and the rest of the seating is made up of awkwardly placed tables. Average service, horrible seating, dirty menus, and a drive through window that I could see from my seat could have all been overlooked if the food was amazing, but to my disappointment it wasn't. I expected that it would be great since the place has been filled up both times I went, but I didn't care for the pizza. When you go to a pizza place you expect the pizza to be good. If I got below average pizza from a Chinese buffet I would feel dumb for complaining, but I expect a place that focuses on pizza to make it well. My boyfriend and I ordered garlic knots, and a plain cheese pizza. The garlic knots were dry and bland, but the pizza really let me down. The first thing that fell short was the ocean of grease that my pizza was swimming in. I don't mind eating really greasy or unhealthy food, but it has to be worth it. Despite the wash of oil, the crust still managed to be overwhelmingly dry for my taste, but my boyfriend didn't mind it so I will let you decide that for yourself. The thing I couldn't get over was the rubbery cheese on my cheese pizza. Maybe a more embellished pizza with ten different meats would have been tastier, but rubbery cheese is below the standard of what I crave. The only reason I ate two slices was because I was famished by the time my food arrived, but if the food was better I am sure I would have eaten more. The only reason food was even brought to our table is because I asked how many people were ahead of us and that I was willing to just pay for the garlic knots and leave. After that a simple pizza magically appeared. After being served blah pizza I was faced with the fact that I would have preferred a $5 Little Caesars pizza from across the street. I probably won't be going back to Fired Up anytime soon. If I want great pizza I am going to have to drive farther to get it. I almost forgot to mention that they SERVED ALCOHOL TO A 20 YEAR OLD. I am only 20 and just for fun I ordered a Shock Top on tap because that is what my boyfriend (he's 25) was having, and since they didn't card him I wanted to see if they would ask for my I.D. I asked for the beer and without hesitation or question she brought me a glass of beer. I gave it to my boyfriend, but they didn't ask for his I.D. either. So for anyone underage that wishes to be served alcohol you can go to Fired Up. Rest assured that the "We I.D." sign behind the bar is just a formality.

I've been there many times for a personal size pizza from the drive through, usually once a week. The food is usually good and the people nice but watch out for the young curly haired waitress. She assumed a tip and kept my change, saying "oh its only a dollar something change" at the drive through. Then i noticed another time i called in the same order and gave my name the price was about $1 more than usual. So i thought the price of the pizza went up, but when i went back another day for the same pizza it was the original price. I believe the same girl overcharged me to get a tip. I blew this off and decided to take my wife there for lunch. She recognized me from the drive through and said " oh decided to come in for a change?" Then i saw her go over and talk to the cook and they both look over at me. At the end of the meal she assumed the tip again saying thank you, snickering and not offering change, $4 tip on a $20 pizza, which i was going to leave her anyway. I always tip and tip well when i dine in, i usually am the type to even clean up my own mess at the table. I don't feel i should have to tip at the drive through and certainly not have someone assume thier tip, overcharge me or make me feel like i' m cheap when i' simply out of work and on a budget. That's why i'm eating a $6 pizza from the drive through! I will never go there again! They lost a loyal weekly customer.

Family friendly place and a great place for getting together with friends. Love the beers on tap. Florida Lager is my fav.

The food is good and the portions are generous. The personal pizza's are a favorite with our granddaughter and she loves to complete the drawings in her kids menu as the wait staff hangs them up in a corner. The selection is typical Italian fair and served hot. The atmosphere is friendly and for the sports minded there are several tv's located throughout. We are never disappointed.

Friends raved about this place so I decided to take my family there. HATED IT! We approached the door and opened it to find the self seating typical, but as we looked for a place to sit in the half filled establishment, we found one booth clean. The servers and cooks were all standing in a big pod chatting and watching tv. Glancing our way several times and making no attempt to approach is and assist with cleaning a table, we proceeded to sit and all we realized was the feeling of being watched. We looked around and noticed all the tables we looking our way watching the TV directly over our booth. After waiting a moment for someone, anyone, to assist us, we quickly got the feeling this is not a customer service environment. I done out at least 4-5 times a week and if I am going to spend my hard earned money, I want great customer service. A few moments of waiting and feeling incredibly uncomfortable, we got up and left and noticed the entire staff still standing in the same spot laughing and joking. We left and swore we would never return and make sure we let people know about our experience. There are toooo many other places that we enjoy to eat and will continue to drive past places like this to go to them. My friends were shocked when I told them and then they all agreed they don't go for customer service, they go for the games. Total unprofessional and unacceptable service. If you're looking to go into this place may I suggest another sports bar like Buffalo Wild Wings, Duffys, or anywhere else besides this place.

Absolutely the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Ordered 2 larges. It took an hour and twenty minutes for them to deliver. One pizza's crust was so thin and soggy and the other one had a puddle of grease over the entire pizza that we soaked up with a paper towel first. Horrible. Too bad 1 star is the lowest rating.

I placed an order for pickup. Two pizzas (a cheese & a sausage) and a large greek salad. The order was ready in 20 minutes as they estimated. The pizzas were nice and thin and the sauce was a perfect match for their wood fired crust. The greek salad included tomatoes, onions, olives, peperoncinis and iceberg lettuce. The salad was so big that it barely fit in its box.

Good pesto pizza. Nice place for watching football. I've only dined in, the service was good and the atmosphere was great. Very fun and friendly people all around.

I tried quite a few things from the menu & everything was great. The garlic knots, pizza, wings, cannoli desert were all delicious. The beers on tap were at the perfect temperature & served in chilled glasses. Our server was very polite & the place was clean. I would definitely eat here again.

I was at an AAU basketball tournament and a guy passed out a menu for this place. I decided to give it a shot because we had to pass by on the way to next game. Called as i left the Heritage High School and by the time i got there...pizza ready. Took one bite and i knew this was good Pizza. My son was skeptical, until he had his first piece. If we did not have to get to game we would have gotten another lg pepperoni please!

Very sad really.....their food is really good, some of the best pizzas out there. But save yourself, order for delivery DO NOT dine in. The service has declined big time over the past year. What used to be a great neighborhood pizza place has turned into a place with unattentive wait staff, where hood rats hang out to gossip with the wait staff while you wait for anyone to come by to serve you. Awful service by obviously inexperienced wait staff. Order in!

Pizza was ok but dough and sauce very bland. Good topping proportions. Lasagna did not have much meat but a lot of cheese and again the sauce has no taste. The garlic knots were good but very doughy, they could of been cooked a few minutes more, the marinara they served with it was just like canned tomatoes, no flavor or spices. If they would flavor their sauces and add some spice it would be so much better. Restaurant was clean and servers were attentive and nice. Overall it was very average.

My husband and I decided to try this place out for the first time. We walked in and were eventually greeted by a young girl who seemed unsure of where to seat us. The place was fairly drab, it seems like there were something missing for the decor. The wait staff all just looked lost....perhaps they avoid the teenagers with out any waiting experience? .....after all how many adults out there are out of jobs right now? Anyhow, we opted to order a "White Pizza" which is Ricotta, Romano, and Mozzarella cheese. It seemed to take an eternity to get the pizza, even though we ordered prior to the large groups of people that were in there. The staff seemed a bit confused amoungst all the choas of having such large parties. When our pizza finally arrived a man, who looked like he rushed in to help as he was unshaven and homely looking brough us our pizza. He quickly dropped it down on the table and left. No napkins, no silverware, no plates.....my husband tried to get his attention, but was ignored. I ended up helping myself to the plates and napkins. We bit into our pizza that we had been waiting in anticipation for and were, to be honest, a bit dissappointed. The pizza that we used to get back in WA, from a true New Yorker was to die for......this white pizza? Salty and greasy, bleh. We decided to order the Canalonni to give them a chance to redeem themselves. This is where my husband and I differ. My husband thought the shell was too thick, I thought it was perfect. I liked it a little thicker as it held together much better and had a nice crunch. All in all we may order delivery from here in the future if we are to lazy to drive to Standing Room Only in Sebastian....we just won't be ordering the white pizza.

Ordered for delivery and was very disappointed. We ordered a large pepperoni, a personal Hawaiian, and an antipasti salad. It took an hour and wasn't really that hot. The salad was bland and looked like lunch meat thrown on top of some iceberg. Both pizza's were very greasy and didn't have any flavor. We literally could pour the grease off the top, we had to "dry" it off before we could even try to eat it. The center of the pizza was slimy and all the toppings fell right off of it. It didn't taste like quality ingredients and we didn't even finish everything because we were worried about how we would feel after eating that much grease. We will never go there or order from them again.

I will come right out and say it: If you make a good pizza, I will overlook a lot. I am, after all, a pizza devotee. It may be where I grew up, about equidistant from NYC and New Haven, or perhaps it's the fond memories of my teenage years, sweating in front of wood burning brick ovens, sliding pies for pennies over the minimum, but more than likely, my love affair with pizza was taught to me by my father. Not necessarily on purpose, and without much thought or discussion on the subject, pizza was on my family's dinner table at least once a week. When we went out for a meal, 3 out of 5 times, we had pizza...usually the only decision was NY, New Haven, or Greek style. My dad would take business trips to Chicago and fly home with 2 deep dish pizzas as his carry-on. So now you know where I'm coming from... Fired up Coal Fire Pizza: Let's start with the FOH staff...the previous reviewer mentioned they are almost all teenagers, and [gasp] teenage girls at that, for many of whom this may even be their first job. It's a pizza place after all. That's where I got my first job and I imagine I'm in pretty good company there. The wife and I have only eaten in a couple times and both times the service was a little slow, but not outrageously so. We prefer to take our food to go and enjoy it in the comfort of our own home anyhow...and that's what we did tonight, so, onto the food: We always start with garlic knots...Fired Up does a nice job here with the knot itself, crispy on the outside, covered in garlic, and singed black in all the right places where the flames licked the tops. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce they serve with these is a little on the acidic side and lacks any real depth of flavor. It's a shame, but it doesn't stop me from ordering them every time. We also get the green salad, although to be honest, for me this is usually just to try and offset the damage I'm about to do with the pizza keeping warm in my oven. The salad itself is your (very)standard Iceberg with some thinly sliced onion, peeled cucumber, and a sprinkling of grated carrot. It is served with an odd homogeneous vinaigrette that we ask for on the side, and usually toss and replace with whatever homemade we have in the fridge. We have also tried their Caesar salad, much to my disappointment. The romaine was fine, crisp and clean...the dressing, on the other hand, was a thick, mayo-laden mess, tasting more like miracle whip than anything resembling a true Caesar dressing. I know...you're probably thinking "This place sounds less than spectacular so far, why the 4 stars?" As I previously mentioned, a good pizza tends to bring out the amnesiac in me and Fired Up makes one fine pie. As usual, I ordered the cheese...I'm something of a pizza purist. Toppings do nothing for me. Toppings are like putting a paper bag over the head of Helen of Troy. I am always a bit suspicious of a pizzeria with a list of "gourmet" toppings a mile long...it makes me think they're overcompensating, like the little guy in the Trans Am. When we had eaten our way through the better part of half a dozen garlic knots, the requisite green salad devoured, and the oven at a toasty 450 degrees, I settled in to warm up a couple of slices for my wife and I. As soon as I opened the box, I knew we were gonna be happy. The pie looked magnificent, as usual. Thin, flavorful, crust, flame-kissed and blackened in all the right places, topped with that golden ratio of sauce to cheese that produces a single homogeneous layer, soft and smooth, set against the crispy crust that crunches as you bite into it...I consider myself lucky to be able to get through two slices after the knots and salad...it was about that time I remembered we had ordered a couple of desserts to try. We went with an order of cannoli (2 per order!) and a slice of cheesecake with the strawberry sauce on the side. We dove right into the cannolis. They were fantastic...delicate crispy shell, light cheese filling, not too sweet, not too heavy, the perfect dessert after a big meal like that. We couldn't even try the cheesecake until much later that evening, and while it certainly wasn't a bad piece of cheesecake (is there such a thing?), it wasn't as dense as I like, and besides, I had already been won over by the cannoli. Do yourself a favor, try Fired Up. Eat in if you aren't in a hurry, take it home if you are. In a sea of mediocrity, Fired Up is a beacon of coal powered light.

Not a fan of the house wings but the pizza is delicious! coal fired Ny style with fresh cut toppings... Definetly on the short list for best N.Y. style in Brevard.

I'm so sorry to see poor reviews for Fired Up. We LOVE this place. Their sauce is fabulous! It is fresh and tastes like tomatoes, not overcooked and covered with dried spices. It's great on the garlic knots, perfect on pizza, but the cooked pasta dishes, like Eggplant Parmesan and Lasagna are absolutely genius! The staff is friendly, and if you think the wait is too long, consider that everything is made to order; and really, who cares if you have garlic knots or very fresh salad to eat while waiting for the food. And before I forget, try the Tiramisu. We spent two weeks it Tuscany, Italy recently, and did not find any Tiramisu as good as that at Fired Up!

Food is excellent - but definitely do carry out or delivery. The service at tables and the bar is consistently deplorable. I can't stand having 3 servers looking at me, but never offering a greeting or even a glass of water. I'll never do dine in again, a bummer for them since my bar bill is usually worth their effort.

OK, this is my third visit , and I will give a fair review. My son and I had a large pepperoni pie and it was fine. There was not much of a "cornichione" (outer crust), but the char was Ok, and the sauce and "Mozz" was very good. The professionalism of the wait staff has increased quite a bit since last I visited. Our fellow diners ordered the wings, and they devoured these with gusto. This restaurant is clean, and overall a pretty good dining experience. The owners were present on our last visit, and they are cool. This place has wifi, too. Check their website : a cut above.

Fired Up's pizza is a very thin-crust creation that is excellent when served in the restaurant. Because of its construction however, you will find it cools very quickly... we live 5 minutes away and must reheat it if we order to go. But pizza isn't what draws my wife and I to Fired Up so often. The Fired Up Stromboli is a favorite of mine, and the sandwiches on their menu are phenomenal! Try the Chicken Parmigiana or the Meatball, both served on a roll made of freshly baked pizza dough. These sandwiches are delicious and the price is right. They come with fries on the side, but you can substitute a very nice garden or Caesar salad with your choice of dressings. We both love the pasta dishes that surprisingly, are not on the menu but offered every night... Baked Ziti, Spaghetti (or other pasta) with or without meatballs, Lasagna, and Chicken Parmigiana. All are served with a salad or homemade soups in colder months, and garlic knots. These dinners are an incredible value, and are truly mouth-watering. Whether or not you can still get out of your chair, don't miss the chance to try a dessert, to go if you must! This place has their own award-winning pastry chef! The Cannoli are great, as is the Carrot Cake. The best, however, is the Triple Chocolate Torte... a combination of cake, mousse, and ganache. Finally, a word about the staff. They are a young, wholesome group who seem to genuinely enjoy their work. They are both friendly and attentive. As often as we go, there has been that rare occasion when something did not come out of the kitchen as expected. The staff was extremely anxious to make it right, and while we may have had to wait a little longer to have the error corrected, it was worth the wait. Buon appetito!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
